I've looked into that, I don't think a moderator has enough access to be playing that deep with the code.

"Like" button is an add-on to the forum software.  Only the Admin and owner can add the feature (no Global Moderators can perform this).

On topic, thanks for upping the ante for that OWB dealer's laziness that you took care of Big Wood!  ^5

:thumbup:for taking care of someone CB does not want to.  Whatever you charge for the welding send the bill to CB and insist they pay up, not the customer.

Was the leak due to the lack of maintenance or a design flaw?  I haven't fired mine up for the season yet, that's on my agenda next week.  Going on my 4th season.  At the end of the heating season I thoroughly clean mine.  I go as far as disassemble and remove the fusion chamber, scrape all surfaces of any creosote buildup and apply a liberal amount oil to all surfaces before I reassemble everything for the summer season.  I pay particular attention to all welded seams surfaces.  Last thing, I toss a bucket on the chimney for the season.  Roger

The erosion of the welds is probably do to maintaince instead of the dealer telling her about the manual says to remove the bricks every 2 years call and let her know waited until there was a problem and then say its your fault

Been there, my dealer was a moron.   He did the company a disservice by selling for them.  I'm glad you took care of the problem for the customer.
