Scott7m  , I was watching this post , hoping someone would chime in with there experiences . ( does no news is good news apply here ? )

I really like what I see in their Pro Series and Elite Series  ,  and have been considering becoming a dealer for them .  I talked with the rep for my area and he knows his stuff .

The distributor is in beckley wv, not state by state, if your interested in being a dealer pm me, or if you were wanting one, we ship direct and I sell them as cheap as anyone

They sure are nice to have, I love mine.

I installed a Pro Series 100 this past year to heat 2000 sq ft in southwest Michigan.  The product is great.  The manufacturer's rep did a great job for us.    The manufacturing rep came to the house and sized the boiler and heat exchanger and further mapped out the install at the house.  I found all of the material except the heat exchanger, the mixing valve, and the insulated pex from the local big box Menard's. I've heated this mild winter on 4 cord of wood.  In addition I had a 2 degree F morning and other single digit mornings where the boiler ran overnight without running out of wood.  If the Pro Series 100 survives 10-20 years I will be more than happy with the purchase.  Unfortunately, we will have to wait to learn the outcome of its longevity.

I think as long as you do your part on taking care of it that it will last a really long time

they are no good

I have a pro 200  and i used to like it until i had a problem  i found out that their warranty sucks.

It started last year after a big snow storm(windy), snow got behind the thermostat, and cause to malfunction(fan would not stop anymore which makes the temperature go up
but lucky i was close by. notify my dealer who sells me a new unit and he tells me he will let head office know if i can get warranty.  After reading in one of those forum that someone had problem with the plate where the thermostat is and what he did was to caulk it and sothat's what i did and taught problem solved.  thissummer isaw my dealer
and he told that after 1year my warranty is already out for electronics  components. even if there was a defect with the unit. thanks.

last saturday we had a major good snow storm here in ontario, guess what  same thing  snow got in again. i really though it was from the thermostat platethat i caulked but i was wrong. It's from the top corner just under the gable kind of roof there is about 1/2 inch space there and enough room with high wind and lots of snow fall to end up there.
had to replace thermostat again
talk to empyre today they won't do a thing.

What i know now is

      EMPYRE MEANS NO WARRANTY

All electronic components have a 1 year warranty basically no matter the company

I have heard of another guy though who experienced your issues in a huge snow storm with high winds...

Were you able to block that opening off?

Sharon goes by the book, if it says 30 days, it better not be 31

Yea of course they wont warranty replacement parts after there service is up

if you bought a love control though,  the electronic warranty for that replacement part would be through love.  They would replace it I bet

Her book means "no pride".

just beware people  they don't stand behind their product.

EMPYRE MEANS  NO WARRANTY

p.s Why would love control pay for a defect in the furnace?  The problem is NOT the thermostat.

P.S.2  "Better be not 31 days"?  Do they get so many claims that they cannot wait for that extra day to say no!!!

this is to the point of laughter at this point

so if there is a 365 day warranty, and u think ohhh it was only 380, then next guy says 400

where does it end???   You do realize you agreed to the warranty and actually signed it?????  Im sure it didnt say 1 year warranty "or whatever you feel is fair"

Sharon no pride?   Her job is to provide customer service based on terms and conditions of the warranty you agreed to, nothing more
