Hooking up a Hardy H2

Hi When hooking up a H2 Hardy is it better to use 1" or 3/4" Pex ?

I used 3/4 but if I had to do it again I would go 1 inch. If you use the coil inside for your hot water the 3/4 will be fine there. How far are you running your lines?

I'd def go with 1".  There is no reason to go for 3/4, it's barely any cheaper than 1".

From stove to house about 35ft and 20ft inside to furnace hook up. And about the same for the hot water heater. I will be building a shed to put the stove in and for wood storage also.

That close I would buy the best 1 inch I could find and use a plate heat exchanger for the hot water heater. It will be less trouble in the long run.

That is what I would do, you will only need to run 1 set of lines that way. In my hook up I made my lines and ran 2- 4 inch drain lines with 2-  3/4 inch insulated pex lines in each, one for the heat exchanger and one for the hot water and it does work but with what I have read and learned on here it would work better if I would have done it the other way.
