Oh yea this goes wayyy farther down the pipe than just outdoor stoves, indoor ones will be seeing the same intense regulation.  I am installing an indoor stove in my house soon for back up, YouTube "efel stoves". That's a product im carrying, they gasify so to speak, just much differently.  There made in Belgium.

Coal will be coming under attack just the same.  People who would say different are just looking at the surface of the EPA and not looking at what's been proposed and what there goals are..

Anything to do with carbon is gettin ready to be silly

So let me see if I have this straight.  The libs don't like fossil fuels, they don't like us burning wood to stay warm, they do not like coal as a heat source, and electricity as a heat source is expensive...I wonder how we're supposed to stay warm without going bankrupt?  The saddest thing about this is that the liberal news media is helping the current administration sell his agenda and people are buying it hook, line and sinker.

They don't know, nor do they care.  They want that warm fuzzy feeling they get from feeling important.

This world isn't perfect, never has been.  However there are no technologies known or in place that could even remotely begin to replace carbon based fuels.

Im a firm believer there are powers at play far bigger than liberals in govt, I feel the powers that be have the ultimate puppet man, and a bunch of misfits in office to back him.

When I think back to school, the total wackos, the ones who simply couldn't interact or even be social, are now the ones I see liking everything Obama says via Facebook twitter or whatever.  I just chuckle when I see who is liking it, no surprise there

Before we get carried away here and people think I just hate Obama, not the case at all...

I can't stand either party to be honest....  There are a few people I do like but it's rare.

Here is something stupid for you.  I live in coal country, stuff is everywhere

Our power plant that supplies me is nuclear, most of our area is coal though and rates are skyrocketing.  Meanwhile, coal docks along the rivers are stockpiling millions of tons of coal, and millions of tons are heading down the river heading towards china, we could use it here, but no we gotta be clean and green, but it's ok if they burn it in china, there on a different planet anyway right?

Your exactly right Scott we are sending millions of tons of coal to china each year there was a thing on the news awhile back saying china is opening a new coal fired power plant every week! Where's the EPA over there if the whole world doesn't partake what food will it do us here? Our power also comes from coal power plants an there are a lot of people who would be affected by it if we were to stop using coal I just can't see how we will we are as clean as we can be with the technology we have today

C'mon now Roger, you didn't really expect to keep any of your hard earned money, did you ?  They don't want to burn coal for your electricity either.  Being that we are all super rich we are expected to make sure all the other people are well cared for before we can even think of taking care of our family.  I guess we should let all the fallen timber rot away and do noone any good.  Oh, excuse me, they will tell me what is good for me, and being a good little citizen, I will happily comply.

Way to call a spade a spade Scott.  I don't know how any self sufficient people like us, who take the lead in our own lives and do positive things for ourselves,  ie produce our own heat can, support the president.   The country would be much better off if there where more people like us in the country instead of people standing around with their hands out looking for free food, free heat, and free cell phones.

We (the voter) are emboldening the politicians to do this. Until we the voters demand a change the direction is cast! Better get use to it....or work for change! Not the kind promised by the current elected but the kind you want. Best thread I’ve read in a while.

On a side note I burn a wood coal mix in my OWB. The wood is blow downs from my property; the coal comes from a mine 35 miles from the house.
