placement of aquastat
« on: October 27, 2013, 01:50:12 PM »

Just switching pump from top to bottom port of my ncb175 and return to the top, where would be the best spot for the Honeywell aquastat? Right now it's in a port right next to the return on the top right. Should that be moved to the farthest top left port?

No, it's fine where it's at from factory

Not sure what was from factory. I installed a L6006A aquastat that I plumbed into a 3/4" port on the top right of center. The apparent factory thermostat that sits in a box in the middle of the back against the tank only goes to 150 and had lots of problems keeping water temp. consistant and no where's hot enough.
