Another Portage and Main 28-40 fired up!!!

Right out of the gate it burned very clean, no smoke out of the door when opened, 2nd is of the heat exchangers 2nd pass and finally the custom heat exchanger, all internal work was with copper, it looks nice and works really well

Back of boiler with strap on Aqua-Stat to kill the blower below 160 degrees and timer wired in parralel, second is of the existing manifold with our tie in job!

Beautiful work Slim!  :thumbup:  With the flame head coming up into the inlet to the heat exchanger, I can see why not much ash/creosote collects in it!!  VERY cool.... er..... HOT.  :)

You need to take those selfies with a good ole 12 gauge and some dead ducks over your shoulder... Phil Robertson who? ^-^

  Danny and I got all the outside work on another B-L 2840 done yesterday including dirt work, it is a change out from another manufacturer, they used inexpensive pipe and we replaced it with Logstor, this one is also in western Ct. about 45 minutes from Bob's place from last week. Bob came over to visit and had some very nice things to say about the process but says he is having trouble posting, he will try again with help from his son that taught me how to post pics. For those of you in Rural Ct. that are looking for a boiler, there are no regs against non EPA certified boilers here and I would strongly suggest that you get one, Brand is your choice but time is running out for the 2015 rules, my contact at Maine DEP says that some of the rules coming for indoor boilers will most likely be somewhat relaxed but the outdoor stuff will stick!
