Frosty
« on: October 11, 2016, 05:35:00 AM »

Hi all - Well, got out of bed with a little frost on the ground.  Me thinks it's time to fire up the CB E-Classic 1400.  This will begin my 6th season heating with it.  I think I'll take Saturday to get her going.  It'll take about 5 hours to get the water to 190.  During that time waiting for the water to get to temp, I think I'll winterize the lawns mowers, motorcycle, gas powered pressure washer, and anything else that I don't use during the cold months.  Once I'm done with that and the water has reached 190, I'll then begin opening valves and plugging in circulators hoping there will be no leaks and get heat to the house.  Man, it seemed like it was just last week that I put the OWB in hibernation for the summer.  Where does time go?  Roger

Drove by Cannon ski area in northern NH yesterday around 2 in the afternoon and there was a heavy frost still at the summit.

A reminder of things to come.  I keep reminding myself that it is Fall and these temps are expected this time of year; dang it!  Roger
