You guys on the east coast sure get some f*cked up weather at times.

Gonna be pretty normal far as temps go here for the next week.

We had something similar a week or so ago, was -13 on Monday morning, by the end of the week it was in the mid 50’s.

I’d much prefer it gets cold, and stay that way, much easier on all the animals, two legged ones included.

Who really knows what we will get here in the NE, they change their mind more than their underwear. And they are the ones who tell us about global climate change when they can't predict 1 week out. Put the plow on the truck today, tractor and snow blower is neater and easy to move around but a warm cab wins out sometimes.

I'm good without any snow , pouring a foundation for a new house. I do wish it would stay colder though , it has frozen and thawed here so many times already that we have mud season in December. >:(

Believe it or not, the color brings me back to my childhood.  When I was a kid we had neighbors who had the old 2 cylinder JD's (I cannot remember which model they owned).  I loved listening to those tractors run and I still do.  There was and is something magical about it.  A 4 cylinder diesel doesn't compare to those old 2 lungers but it's close enough for me.  Plus, I'm not cold when I'm clearing my yard of snow regardless of how cold it gets.  If my CB E-Classic 1400 runs as good and as long as my JD4500 has, it'll be heating my home for years to come.  Roger

I know you are.  Just wanted to share a bit history behind the decision to buy a JD.  Oh, I did spend $3.00 yesterday on a new headlight.   ;)   Happy New Year to you too.  Stay warm.  Roger

I always bust my buddies chops about his 2 cyl JD's. "Nothing runs like a deere" I told him if any of my IH's ran like that i'd scrap em.

When I got the snow  blower a few years ago the guy asked me if I cared that it did not match the tractor color, it's an Iowa farm equipment made in the US. It was way cheaper than Kubota and the Local Kubota dealer was out of them, late January of 15. Rodger that cab on the JD is nice. My local JD dealer had no time to talk to me when I was in the market. I got the Kubota and payed cash. I also learned that JD smaller tractors are made in India while Kubota is Japan. So I had to add to a chalk board in a cracker barrel in July that was toting the 4th of July with Chevy , apple pie and JD. I put made in India right under that. Why does my Wife call me a PITA sometimes?
