Oh ok then guess it just seemed loud to me, i'll be honest it scared the crap out of me the 1st time. as long as thats normal then i guess mine is good to go

We have a cairn terrier "Maggie" that can hear that damper door open a 1/4 mile away. She goes nuts barking her head off everytime.  She is 7 and must have heard it a thousand times.  Still gets her excited.

Slosh, a buddy of mine and myself were working on mine stove making the last few connections. I turned the breaker on to the stove ,grabed the plug in and said now when I plug this in she should finally come to life. I pluged the first plug in she started to fill with water so we was happy danceing around so I grab the other plug and plug it in, I got it half way in the plug and that stuped solnoid popped,the door slammed open and we took off running and screaming across the feild. Scared the CRAP out of both of us, and I told him a half hour earlyer that it would do that.
