Save yourself long term "trouble" and attach a piece of 316 Stainless steel annular corrugated braided process hose from your hard plumbing of the back of the stove to the Logstor entering/exiting the ground.  Just st make sure you order the correct fitting ends on the hoses!  More expensive but a no disappointment proposition.

With the amount of time and money invested in the Liberty Bus, please make sure you install an in-line Magnefine transmission filter Richard (you can thank me later).

Just one of those things in life that plain works.  I have no affiliation with the company nor sell its products.

General Discussion / Re: Coyotes

Coyotes are canines and will explode in population if allowed to (no ACTIVE superior predator in the area).  Bobcats are showing up in Indiana now so it is only a matter of time that they too will need population reduction management.

Although I never really wanted to predator hunt, I have noticed a nice upswing in my local population of rabbits, Eastern wild turkeys, chukkar, and even red-tailed fox (central Indiana).  As such, I do go out and kill 5-10 coyotes per year with a very nice, inexpensive Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .22-250 Remington (fantastic sub-1 MOA rifle for gun buffs out there  ).

Depends... are you not getting good hot burns or not long enough burn times?

Looks like a fantastic investment and tool for you and the dogs, Richard.

I lost my original wedding ring in the ball pit at The Kids Zone indoor playground when my daughter was 5.  Even offering $100 to any kid willing to dig around in the pit and find it.  In the end, it was never recovered and I bought another.

It happens. Stinks but,,, it does indeed happen.  :-\

One thing I cannot fully appreciate is the physical size of various units.

That said, how about a picture of you or a person next to a your MF20000e Mr. Maple?  :photo:

(I know it is a large boiler; that's why I desire to see a person next to one).

If anyone desires foil-sided bubble insulation, the most inexpensive place I have found to purchase is on line at insulation4less(dot)com.  You are required to create an account in order to see actual pricing.  They generally have a buy-one-get-one-free sale on complete product rolls periodically.

I have no affiliation with nor do I sell their product in any manner.  Just a decent place if you are interested in this type of product.  CHEERS!

First:  I am not a Communications major in any way, shape, or form.

Second:  You guys are killing me!  :bash:  I do understand what is on the EPA's approved (certified) outdoor wood-burning furnace list;  unfortunately, that s not what I am driving at and asking about.

The Question again (second time):

Quote
what NEW PRODUCTION (meaning, as if January 1, 2016) Portage and Main products are actually manufactured and for sale in the United States and meet the EPA White Tag Phase II requirements?

The answer?  I guess I will try to answer my own question.

As I listed in my last post, I will clarify that I am NOT referring to:

  • coal boilers
  • old P&M inventory
  • Pre-January 1, 2016-P&M boilers specified on the EPA's list

For outdoor WOOD-burning furnaces, P&M's website and the EPA's approved OWB list seem to deduce the following:

The ONLY brand new, after January 1, 2016 Portage and Main outdoor wood-burning furnace that is EPA White Tag Phase II-approved and listed for legal sale and purchase in the United States of America is the $30,000+ Enviro-Chip 500 chip boiler (Optimizer 350 is discontinued so it doesn't "count" for U.S. sales now as it is no longer manufactured)

A single, $30,000+ dollar boiler for legal U.S.A.-eligible sales as of January 1st, 2016?  :o

Am I correct or incorrect here?   :-\

Set me straight information insiders!
