New boiler
« on: December 04, 2014, 06:28:36 PM »

I'm looking into getting a portage and main out door wood boiler. Are there any dealers near Maryland that have the bl 34-44 in stock for purchase. I want to beat the EPA restriction on a gasser.

Call our office, they will let you know if there is a close dealer and if that dealer has any 34-44's left, we are behind in production, I think about 6 weeks, still and it's getting close to the deadline for non gassers, if you want one you had better act soon!

Thanks slim jim. I have to call and get some information. Hopefully something will be around in driving distance. I can't get even heat in my old farm house with my current wood stove and my oil burner is wore out and needs replaced. I wonder how far away from the outside wood furnace can you run the under ground pex pipe  and still heat the buildings you want to heat?

I have done 500 feet before with Logstor! is your farm house hot air or hot water heat, perhaps we can help with ideas?

It's hot water base board. The house is not insulated very well and I want to heat another smaller block farm house house. Wondering how much heat I can get out of the portage and main bl34-34? I might try to run a ceiling mount forced air in the dairy house also.

What is the best insulated pex line product and line size for heating? My neighbor is running a central boiler e classic and he has 1" pex. He said I might need 1 1/4" because of the size of my house.

Logstor, best construction in the industry, heaviest outer layer, one inch inside diameter pipe compred to .82 inch for other pipes, they are nominally sized, outside diameter
