I have a CB5036 with 2 sections of chimney, I have an extra section.
If I install the third section would it improve the efficiency and draft to the boiler?

We have 5036's crawling out the woodwork!!  Welcome to the site!

If you don't have a neighbor or residential requirement for it, then no don't add it. The longer the chimney pipe the higher chance for creosote buildup.

I've got three sections on 5036 and probably will add a fourth, though my dealer told me the same thing Ridgekid said about creosote build up.  The higher you go, the cooler the stack gets and the creosote cools down and builds up at the end.  I think I've already got some build up at the end of my three sections now.  The problem I'm having is down drafts since I live in the mountains on the side of a mountain.  The wind is always swirling around and the smoke goes everywhere except over the ridge away from my house.

Nothing wrong by adding a section of pipe to get the smoke up...Too keep the stack from plugging at the end.. Run a hot fire and let it go here and there..Best way to keep it clean

Good idea. I do occasionally build a fire with pinion pine which burns really hot and it does help.  I have no creosote in the cleanout.
