We're north of the snow zone, two more days of rain forcast though.  Second one went down with it and one at my parents place, pleanty of clean up when the rain stops.

Phew!  That was close.

Man, that's one of the reason I like living out in the open.  There is nothing to fall on the house or OWB.  Granted, there is nothing to act as a buffer against the wind but that's a price I'm willing to pay.

Thoose trees were the wind break, not anymore.  Been about 40-60 years old christmass trees put in by my grandparents.

Power out here since 1830 on Monday. Talked to power company they said hopefully back on by Friday. I saw lights within a mile of my house last night. That mile could take a while. I don't think there is a line still on a pole (the ones still standing) anywhere in that mile! Glad I have the generator!

No damage on my 15a mountain homesite but my brother at the foot of the mountain has quite a bit of damage on his 20a. About 5a blown just flat.

Plenty of firewood down now.   :'(

No trees down or anything at my house here in North Central Ohio never lost power either but got sum wet carpet in the basement.

Power back on at 1600 yesterday. Crews from Mississippi working alongside our locals. Said they got here Monday night and haven't stopped since they arrived. THANK YOU!  :thumbup:

I also had a near miss here in SE PA with trees falling around my furnace but they all missed.  Power was out from Mon-Sat and we just got cable/network back yesterday.  Will not have to travel far for wood for the next several years.
