What pump to use

A friend of mine just offered me 2 pumps he got and never used. I have a WILO that is going to take a dump here soon (JUNK) and it is brand new. Never again will I get that brand of pump. Anyhow, Scott7m is hooking me up with a pump but I figure since my friend has two on hand I might as well get one and replace that crappy WILO with one of the following two and keep Scotts pump as backup, I was going to keep the WILO for backup but that thing will be getting tossed. Which is better. TACO 00R-MSF1 41FC 3-speed or a GRUNDFOS UPS15-58FC 115v 3-speed. Now I run 3/4" pex and this pump will be running water to the upstairs baseboard.

Grundfos 15-58 is good for many situations

The 00r is for high head and low flow situations

I like grundfos

I was thinking of Grundfos just from what people on hear say about them. He said $75 for that pump. I figured why not. My wilo was making all kinds of racket this morning then before I left for work tonight it was quite as can be? Im going to replace it Saturday with this Grundfos I do believe then get another for backup. Now since this will be running to the upstairs should I keep it on the second setting? Thats what I believe the WILO is set at but dont quote me on that. And is that a descent price?

Both of those pumps have almost the exact flow curve. I like Grundfos more than Taco.
If they are used, I would try getting the price down some. That sounds kind of high for used but if new, it is a good deal.

I couldn't find a curve for the 00r jut read a article on it

That's def to high for used.

Its a brand new pump still in the box. Think Im going to pick this up this week. Can't beat the price
