Scott, will this stuff work okay on a gasser too?  I may wait to purchase some until next heating season.  It won't be long before I'll be shutting her down for the summer and I'll be giving her a thorough cleaning at that time. 

I don't know if you know how CB made the e1400 but along the side walls and the rear wall there are about 18 air holes for the primary draft.  These holes are most problematic to keep clear of creosote buildup and keep from plugging.  They are a royal pain the in the a__ to clean.  I am hopeful that the proformer will aid in keeping the creosote from building up as much as it does.  I burn all hard wood that has been seasoned for 3 years under cover and creosote buildup is still a problem in the e1400.  I suspect that it is a problem for all gassers.  Roger

That's what it's made for.  It can help conventionals to but primary purpose was to help with cleaning on gasification boilers.  That's what Marty is using it on
