First off - thank you for all the advise you guys gave me back in Jan. I just purchased woodmaster 440 - underground pipe is in and slab poured. should I use a pretreat solution and flush prior to putting in anti corrosive additive . I have heard flushing with vinegar first ?. any information about proper water treatment would be of great help.     Thank you  DJC

I cannot speak for your manufacturer but we do not suggest any other pre treatment on our boilers other than the boiler treatment that we supply with the sale, I would suggest however that you flush the boiler and lines to get rid of any solids that may have gotten into the lines or boiler in shipping or installation, then fill with water / treatment, run the circs for at least a few hours to mix it well then take your sample, we ask that you send samples for our boilers to us and we do the analysis and then we get back to our customers to let them know if any more treatment is needed as no two water supplies are the same.
