Hey Scott what do you think, I'm starting to think that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. For those who choose to save wood by running the unit cold someday we will be saying we told you so, 10 year old units are not gassers and with the development of those units the industry has learned a great deal, we are simply attempting to give some FREE advise, your choice' use it or not, it will not affect me either way.
Yes Slim, it kinda makes my blood boil to have someone ask you 100 questions through pm, then you willfully answer them all, then each time they turn and try to find some way to prove you wrong.
I am not selling firewood, and if someone is goofy enough to think that's what it's all about?! Why would I lie about it, there is absolutely nothing to gain from sharing what we've experienced on this forum, however it does make it aggravating and takes time away from which we could be helping someone with a "real issue" to beat a dead horse
Ok I get it, now only good stoves are built Tuesday thru Thursday, right that's it, why didn't we just look t our serial numbers and see all our failures were built on Monday and Friday, darn us... We are so incapable
Sooo.... Because this stove was built on a Monday, the worker was to lazy to rub his magic fairy dust on the steel to prevent corrosion right?!
The stoves that have this issue don't fail because of a leaky weld or anything craftsmanship related to a worker, they fail due to corrosion!!!!!!!!
