I recently purchased a used Hardy at junk price. The unit appears to be in working order. I have access to a work truck with a crane on it and was wondering if there is a place to lift the unit once you take off the outer shell? If not what would be the best way to move the unit

Rollback or a forklift will work

I used a couple of 2x6 boards on end like a header and a chain through the stack hole and lifted with a bobcat.

You don't have to take the shell off.   I just put a heavy steel rod down through the smoke stack turn it sideways and use a heavy tow strap double wrapped around it.  Pick straight up and move slowly.

I had to move my old one a couple of times and did it the hard way ( removing the cabinet) and using a two wheeler.

When I bought my new H4 last year the dealer loaded it with a backhoe with a chain welded to a heavy steel rod. Made it look easy.

You think that would put strain on the inside welds? Must be stronger than I thought lol
