I fired up my Thermo-control boiler for the first time this year.....I love the feeling of nice comfort and steady heat.....Now if I can get my shop added on in the spring, so my boiler will be in my shop instead being in a small insulated shed were the out door boiler I had was...I will be happy....I will also be putting a wood shed on the very end of my shop.....that will be nice....everything will be out of the weather......I will be able to open a man door and grab wood out of wood shed and bring it in my shop and throw it in boiler.....

I fired mine a week ago yesterday.  It's a comfy 73 degrees inside and in the lower 40's outside.  Looking at the weather forecast, beginning tomorrow the daytime temps may not get out of the lower 40's with night time temps in the mid to upper 20's.  Bring it on!   :)

Yote, it was 77 degrees in my living room last night!!  I don't have any insulation on my pex yet and it was enough "bleeding" heat to warm my living.  Shew, we cracked a couple windows!  This morning was better.  Down to set temp because it got down to 32 outside finally!  Started on October 13.

Whew! I'd have been down to my shorts! I have mine set for seventy but there is enough heat coming up the ducts without the blower to keep it warm.

Fired ours up 3 days ago. This is our first stove and we are making it past the "learning curve" lol. It sure is nice to have a warm house, hot water and a nice warm shop to work in.

I lit mine last night.  I am adding my garage to it this year so I had to drain the water in order to put the new fittings on.  It was down to 61 in my house but this morning it was a cozy 70 deg.  I just need to start doing some more cutting now!!  happy heating!

Kelly - That's precisely the reason I went to an OWB.  I couldn't afford the $5,000.00/year bill from the oil industry.  I tried using the wood stove in my living room for one season but a chimney fire convinced me to find an alternative solution.  Thus, the reason for the CB E-classic 1400.  I haven't regretted it.   Roger

Roger,
the same with me....I could not afford fuel oil myself either. I used a lopi wood stove in our house for 6-7 years with fuel oil for back up......if we burned just wood stove some parts of the house were cool and seem like you were always getting up in the middle of the night to put in wood...... hey it worked and we survived it.....but now we would never go back....lol we still have it for back up.....glad we did when our royall crap out on us...lol..heated our house for a month a  year and a half ago when I bought this indoor boiler....... we love our wood boiler like you.....one of the best investments we could have done......
Kelly
ps  my wife don't mind putting in wood in the boiler either

Hey Hoardac, remember me, Know anybody looking to buy a 10 year old Wood Doctor extra large, 5 foot firebox, looks like I'm going to install the chip boiler at my place, just got it in place last night, still need to plumb it and then I will install the B-L 34-44 shaker grate that I have here for when Brian wants me to do a show on the road with the Chip Boiler.

I have a guy at work asking about my wood boiler quite a bit I will ask him. That chip boiler sounds awesome.
