Propane furnace still running
« on: October 28, 2013, 06:08:27 PM »

I just bought a new house with an owf and my propane furnace continues to run even though I started my outside Taylor wood furnace. I turned the breaker on and opened to two valves. Any thing im missing? Maybe the blower isn't receiving power.

If you have two thermostats, set the one that goes to the propane furnace low (I keep mine on 50) and set the other one on your desired temp.  The second thermostat should just run the fan in your propane furnace.

I only have one thermostat. And after messing with my blower on my furnace door it kicked on but I got zapped by my toggle switch on my aquastat. Probably not a good sign......
