A lot of variables in that equation for sure.  I've had no issues with heatmaster in regard to warranty, probably because of such few issues but from what I've heard they are extremely easy to work with from a dealers standpoint.    I've also had good warranty from empyre, I had one leak due to a unforeseen issue, he has a new stove on the way at no cost to him, shipping was even covered, also his neighbor had the same stove without the issue so empyre went ahead and sent 2 new upgraded 304 stainless ones in there place.  Can't be being pro active.

Heatmaster is very pro active as well, working with you to make sure you send in water samples by providing you reminders, sample bottles, shipping labels, shipping containers, you name it

depends on the state for outdoor boilers, his are not epa approved yet,  but if you want an indoor one or in a state that allows  non epa versions still,  thermo-control stand behind there boilers with a  20 year non prorated warranty ....www.nationalstoveworks.com     I know the owner very well....top notch guy....I have his cell if you would like to talk to him direct.... they are a closed system as well, they are a low pressurized system like a house boiler......that's what I chose.... but there are a lot of good companies out there just have to keep the maintance up....water treatments and cleaning of boiler and so on.....it all takes a factor.....I am not going to say the rest are junk because there not, A lot of different options are out there all depends on what you like and how the company treats you......if you feel comfortable and there being  honest when you ask them about problems they may have had in the past. they tell the truth and don't dodge the ? the price is what you can afford go with them....all I can say......I am being honest....I am not a dealer either....

Rugerman, not all manufacturers are like the guys you bought from, in fact most are good honest people who are trying to make a living just like you, don't get discouraged, of course all of us dealers are going to tell you that we have the best warranty. I personnaly like what Kelly said regarding manufacturers and warranties, his friend has one of our units that had a problem and things did not get resolved as quickly as I think they should have but I think that he knows the reasons why, in short it is not always entirely the manufacturers fault other than that we as an industry have not done a good job in educating the consumer on our products, proper use and maintenance. If I were in your shoes I would continue to press the company by letting them know that you are continuing to post here about them and would like the issue resolved, no company wants bad press, try to contact the dealer on here to see if he can do anything for you, PM him, and lastly don't buy on price alone, don't buy from a pretty flyer, go and look at the product lines yourself, you really do get what you pay for.
