Slim, I am going to overhaul my door in the off season.  What dimensions should I make the channel for the rope seal?  I also want to try the silicone rope in the overhaul so PM me how we go about making a sale.

Slim, you replied to MattyNH but must have missed my post right before his.  What size does the silicone rope come in?  Is 1-inch a standard size?  How do I go about getting it from you?  I need about 7-feet of it.

The silicone gasket is a lot better than just the plain rope gasket as the plain rope get formed to the edges and hardens to that form and crusts up with creosote the silicone covering keeps the rope soft and pliable and keeps its shape for a better seal

Sorry Wood Nut, I'm not ignoring you, Randy is right, the gasket fits a 1 inch channel, I have a limited amount with me at the shows that I carry for upgrades, P+M gets $8 per foot for it, the best way to get it is at a show or call the office at 800-561-0700, Randy I can't complain about VT. they were very good to us at the show, great crew up there to work with and lots of sales for this time of year, Brian is happy and we are going to try to get into the Richmond VA. show this coming weekend, OH BOY another road trip, good thing my wife is understanding!
