So I am moving my Heatmor 400 over to our new place that we will be breaking ground on this month.  I am wanting to use the boiler for radiant floor heat as well as the water coils in the HVAC.  I want to know if people are seeing the kind of heat loads they need to keep the boiler running efficiently in new homes that are very well inculated.

Also, I would like to know if there is a prefered website, supplier, that can assist me with EVERYTHING I need including a layout for my radiant floors.  The local yocal here is a bit to proud of his labor and is very slow to get things completed.  I need someone to lay it all out so I can lay it out and get it all connected.

As far as the layout of the radiant and manifolds, work with a reputable and local supply house as they will do the legwork for you and it will be designed to work, as far as the piping, heat exchangers and that stuff the boiler manufacturers can typically beat the heck out of their pricing, most important don't cheap out on the underground piping also in the layout of the system ask your supplier to explain the benefits of plumbing the system as a primary secondary system, depending on your current or future plans this can be a real asset in the heating system, try to stay away from the cheap chinese circs and flanges or valves.

When you say supply house I assume you mean a plumbing supply house?  I don't have a lot of people in this area that are up to speed with the radiant floor heat. Everyone wants to run it off a geothermal in these parts.  I will do some digging

Are you doing radiant in a slab or on the underside of a sub floor?

As much as it hurts,buy and deal local!  It will come back to haunt you if you don't.  When things go bad on a Sunday morning I will guarantee you the supply house won't come help you out!  If you want cheap and fast move to china!

The supply houses that I use are local, I don't buy my circs valves or fittings over the internet and certainly given a choice not from china. Have you tried to buy a copper fitting made in These United States lately

paintballs...I have decided to do under subfloor staple up since I am only doing small areas on the main level and it's just under tile.

As for the basement, it will be in the floor cement.

Easyrider, check out a product called Ultra Fin for the tile section.

There are plenty of online calculators for determining loop size, tubing size and spacing, water temperature and flow, etc. to best fit your needs.  Once you figure out what you need, if you want to save some money, the people at either PEX supply or PEX universe should have just about everything you need to do the installation at competitive prices.

No suppliers, no worries. Everything you need to size, design, calculate radiant floor install can be found at Viega,  Rehau,  or Taco down to the last detail on exactly how to run your loops. Reverse return, outside in or high load area to low load area backmanifold.

 I would say pex supply is a pretty good source for material, there are more but pricing is close enough or the same as our wholesaler.

Even if you have blueprints and mail a copy to a radiant supply house for quote. Sometimes you get lucky and they will give you a complete design layout and material takeoff.
