Selling my CB 4030
« on: February 19, 2014, 03:29:03 PM »

So I'm selling my 4030 due to it being undersized for my main level and basement. Purchased it brand new in late October. Does anyone have any idea as to what I could expect to get out of the unit?  I'm going to advertise on Craigslist and in the local trading journal.

Thanks in advance

I wish you good luck and a speedy sale. DOCUMENTATION, and plenty of pictures will help.i even took pics inside the jacket for one to show there was zero corrosion.  How'd you get too small of a unit? DIY? Salesman? Or added on?

A little of all. I purchased it heat 2000 ft of my main level only and it has struggled doing that and I want to add by dhw and basement. I'm only getting 6-8 hour burn times when the temp drops below 30. I was told by e dealer that I would have to fill it more often, but I thought I would get at least 10 hours for 2000 ft.

I guess I just wanna try something different.  Hoping that I don't regret it.  It paid for itself in 3 years and I'm hoping to get something more efficient in a conventional.  Can't get conventional next year I guess.  Now or never.

The buyer is supposed to be coming Friday to check everything out. Trying to work everything out so I won't have to burn propane any longer than necessary.
