:bash:My wood stove never seems to want to shut down.....It has the 2 thermostats and I changed one out for a new one, still the stove boiled and steamed like a pressure cooker. Had the guy come out that I bought the unit from and he bled the line for air. Still the burner repeated the boiling and high temps. Called another guy from the area that sold a different brand and he suggested there was an air leak somewhere. A few days later (we had some days that were warmer and the furnace wasn't pushed to hard) when it got down to near 0 again at night, there it went. Bright and early the next morning I called the original guy again and told him what it was doing. He said it had a rust hole in the bottom of the unit mounted in front of the stove under the removable tray and he had one in his shop. I told him to bring it out and install it. Still my problem is not remedied. Last night it boiled out of water again. Did we screw up the way the thermostat is wired maybe??? How do I know?
