I finally shut down the OWB for the summer. Last evening I put a couple of piece of wood in it to last the evening and when I got up this morning it was going strong. So, I shut it down and turned it off and waited for the water to cool before starting the cleaning the process. All that's left to clean is the firebox, primary combustion air holes, fusion chamber and solenoids. Of those 4 things, the firebox and air holes are time consuming and a dirty job and I absolutely hate cleaning them. But it needs to be done if I want the OWB to last for many years. Quick question about the oil burner; I noticed today after the oil burner turned off the water temps continued to rise for about another 30 degrees. Is this common or should I be concerned? Thanks.
