if epa bans conventionals in usa can we still buy conventionals in canada after the epa ban if stove is made canada

If they ban their use, I'm thinking no. If they ban the manufacture but not their use, I'm thinking probably no as it would be unfair to local manufactures and defeat whatever the reason was for implementing the ban. But...I am no lawyer.

If that company wants to export to Canada and feels they can sell enough to make money I don't see any reason why you could not still buy in Canada the EPA ban would be on selling in the U.S. not manufacturing them.

If the stove is made in Canada, then you'll be fine.  IF they keep making them.  It would depend on how much of their market share is made up of U.S. sales and if they can swing the loss of that much product.

have not banned use but sales of conventionals are fazing out
build your own and they can't stop you if they don't know

I know my dealer will not sell you a conventional if your state bans it mostly due to warranty issues with manufacture.. All u need is an additional address in another state to bipass that deal not to say that would be the case with Canadian built units.
