6048 solenoid fuse
« on: January 18, 2015, 02:52:59 PM »

This is the 3rd season with my 6048. The 1amp slow burn fuse has blown 4 times this year. Not once the first two seasons. What might be causing this? Is the damper door sticking and causing this fuse to blow?

It wouldn't hurt to take a look at it and clean any and check the wires it would be a good place to check

I had a 6048 for 7 years and loved it, but a couple of times a year I used to put never seize on the moving parts for the damper. Also make sure that spring works freely. Good luck
