Just wondering what to use on the outside of the boiler to remove smoke stain from loading the stove?  It's mainly over the door and since the panel is light colored it really jumps out.  Probably my OCD kicking in but might as well keep it looking good.

I thought I left you a bottle of Spray Nine fireplace cleaner, if not then I'm sorry as I usually do, it works pretty good in the air box as well as the exterior. You might want to consider painting the cover black so it doesn't show as much.

Oven cleaner works great. Spray it on it takes stains right off.

Slim, I don't recall any Spray Nine but I will get some.  Thanks Automan, never thought of oven cleaner.

I'm going to try my pressure washer this year instead of scrubbing it by hand.  Perhaps if I apply some kind of detergent before the pressure washer.  I'll post the results when I get around to it.  Roger

You gotta have this stuff around.
It's like a mild degreaser.
Cleans rims and heavier jobs that weaker cleaners can't handle.
Not as harsh as oven cleaner,but strong enough.
Stuff is great!
I use the cleaner degreaser for everything heavy

Thanks KK.  I use that stuff to clean all my aluminum rims on the vehicles.  I'll give it a try.

I ordered a case of spray nine from ace hardware... Works great

I use simple green no scrubbing  just spray it on let it set a bit and wipe let off!

Buy a gallon of Totaly Awesome for a few bucks at the dollar store, it's........ Well, totaly awsome!
