In hot water
« on: May 05, 2015, 03:56:17 AM »

Using the last of the hot water from the boiler, will have to turn the gas on now.

That's one thing I miss is the consistent hot water from the OWB when taking a shower.  The water from the oil burner oscillates a bit (on demand) and I don't like that.  Roger

Do you have a tankless coil or an indirect hot water tank Roger?

For summer use, I use the tankless coil in my oil burner.  Roger

An indirect hot water heater would solve that for you and is far more efficient than the tankless coil!

I would like to keep it going but, it's not worth it. Plus I need to start ripping it apart and rebuild for the COLD winter that's coming.

Shuttin down tommorrow.
Using no wood at all,, well maybe an armful, a 24 hour period.
Running pump 24/7 cancels out the hot water savings.
Just me and the wife,,, and we don't bathe much ;D

That's what the Road King is for Kenny, 5 minutes riding naked on it and the stink gets blown right off!

I have several pieces left of a god awful ugly maple I split up, throwing a few big pieces in and getting a few days worth out of em. Hardly worth running the OWB right now but hate to turn the nat gas back on to the water heater.
