Tired of hearing oil burner
« on: October 19, 2015, 03:16:02 AM »

So after I change out the circ I'll be firing up the E-Classic 1400 for the season today.  I can't wait, I love the hotter hot water from the DHW tank provides.  Plus, not hearing the oil burner running is music to my ears.  Roger

I will agree Roger, I take it one more step further, each time I throw a stick in my boiler, I think " that's one less bullet bought by terrorists " Dans son just left last week for Turkey >:(

Don't you mean Full of Bull peace prize?

Well, the house is nice and cozy warm at 68 degrees; the DHW is nice and hot and not a sound out of the oil burner.  One of Simon and Garfunkel's songs said it best; "the sound of silence".   Roger

After modifying my air channels on my e-2300, adding a flow check to my manifold, expanding my radiant zone, and stacking 11 cords of nice dry hardwood in the shed... I will be touching mine off this weekend. cant wait for a heated garage, unlimited DHW and a silent heating system!
My wife was skeptical of the OWB when I first installed it, however she has come around and has asked several times over the past 2 weeks "when we firing up the boiler?" gotta love it!
