LogStor Connections

I have my LogStor pipe installed underground and am getting ready to make the connections at the furnace and inside. The fittings that were sent by the supplier of the LogStor to go from the LogStor to 1" copper seem to be big. Is it supposed to be real hard to get these fittings into the PEX ? Do I have to apply some heat to get them in ? Just seems like there is no way they will go in without doing something...maybe the wrong fittings....don't know. Don't want to heat the PEX if you are not supposed to.
Has anyone had experience with doing this ?

Here is the fitting....the outside seems to be almost the same size as the outside on the logstor...

What did they send for a clamp? I’ve not seen that one yet, wonder if somebody screwed up and sent you 1 1/4” pex fittings? I know some people use em and you do have to heat the Logstor a little and beat in em. I take 1 1/4” pex x 1” MIP fittings and chuck em in the lathe and just shave a little off the pex end, just enough to get em to slide in the Logstor with a little effort then use a T-bolt clamp on it.

That’s the wrong fitting, tell your dealer to get you some of the real Logstor fittings, that one is probably an 1 1/4 inch barbed fitting used for water line and will not work well.

Looks like a straight 1" barbed adapter. I'm not certain whether or not the Urecon/Logstor is PEX-A or not, but I do know I've heated and hammered a whole lot of fittings into it. Did the supplier give you crimp rings or t-bolt clamps or what?

Perhaps you should as well try the Logstor fittings!

I have no idea what you mean by that statement but hammering a barbed fitting into a pex connection just seems silly to me, I mean you might just Wreckit! They do make their own fittings that work very nicely!

Good thing I didn't say anything about hammering a barbed fitting into pex then, huh? I prefer the 1-1/4" pex crimp fittings to the Logstor fittings, although that is none of your business- hence why I suggested minding your own. Perhaps you've never been fishing, only someone who has ever been fishing would get that reference. Anyway, back to the subject at hand

What the heck is your problem? I simply answered a question that was asked as well as made you aware that Logstor has fittings designed for their pipe, no need to hammer or hack anything, use the proper tools for the job! It seems to me that any time I say anything on here, you need to be a jerk, what is your problem?

Thanks everyone for your input..
This fitting came from the Logstor supplier. He didn't send any clamp so I assumed to use a PEX clinch clamp. There is no way that fitting is going into the pipe by hand without heating it up, just to tight. I have included some more pics of the fitting and the pipe. It appears to be a 1" fitting...

I wonder what happened there...I got them from the same place I bought the LogStor. Any ideas where I can get the proper fitting ?
I will need four of those type and 2 90 degree elbows.
How do you normally clamp them ?
