What if he found a similar size pipe and slid it down through his stack and let it extend into the firebox about a foot

That would probably be much easier! I might try that for next year.  I might loose a lot of my firebox capacity though.

Yeah, I figured there is no room to spare. But if it did cut down on wood usage it might not matter that it uses up some space.

I was going to try this idea when I rebuilt my H2 but did not get it done YET. I may try to build a owb for next season but if not I will try the stack in the fire box.

Boy I made her smoke this morning :) I tossed in a whole bag, including the bag of wood pellets that were laying in my garage..   They had got damp last year and ruined but man you talk about some smoke lol.

Nope had to cover 200 miles to get to the national farm machinery show in louisville, every stove around is here

Great video!  Maybe those guys from the Hearth forum should see this!   :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. They think their so much better and smarter than OWB users.
