My 7500 was delivered last night by Craig.  I hope to get it installed very soon.
 I got my insulated pex installed two weeks ago. Now just waiting on the
plate exchanger and few other things to arrive.

I will give updates when done.

I got some questions for everyone.

My hot water tank and existing boiler are in two different sides of the house. The pex comes in the wall by the existing boiler. What do you suggest for the hook up.

Do I move my hot water tank? Put the heat exchangers at each location or put hot water exchanger in with the existing boiler?

Also after all that I'm going to have a small heater in the garage.

Need some ideas.

If it were me I would try to set up a mechanical room at the boiler with water tank and heat exchanger, leave lots of room for manifolds hung on wall away from the boiler for easy service, most boiler service techs don't like servicing the competition.

So you wouldn't  put them in direct line. Put them on an opposite wall with unions for service.

My boiler guy has no idea how to make the zone valves and pump turn on.

Does any one have suggestions?


There are three zones, with there thermostat.
