Poured the pad this week and laid the logster pipe as well as some conduit for electricity.  House will be completed in about 5 more weeks. Will fill in the rest of the trench today and then get a heavier piece of eqt in to lift the heat master 10,000e off the trailer and into position.  Thanks to Scott for his help in securing the right wood boiler.  You can see the wood boiler siting on the trailer in back of the house.

 Had to cut through the gutter drain lines and then patch them.

im not sure, but he loaded up my boiler about a month ago and when he accidentally forgot to send the heat exchanger,  I sent him a text and he said he handled it.  I will take him at his word that he had it shipped, he seemed pretty busy.

Thanks.  I just finished putting the soil under the pad.  I took the tractor bucket and turned the very dry soil into powder, then filled the whole and tamped and watered. 

Yes, the ditch was dug and the pad was pored.  Then the Logstor laid in.  Ill get some pics up of the pad now.  Im going to let the soil settle some more this week before I put the Boiler on the pad.

If your soil is anything like ours on the home farm, it could settle for years.

When I did  mine I laid the pipe, back filled, then left the boiler sit on two 4x6's till the next year. And it did settle more in the year.

Here the drain tile we installed in a field across the road three years ago, had to level trenches again this spring.

No, no it was my attempt at humor, but there is nothing very level on this lot.  I'm cutting another road along the perimeter of the front of the home to allow me good access from the wood piles to the stove.  I use a tractor with forks so any sideways tilt in the road can be very dangerous.  I will get up a pic of the future front road.   A helicopter would be awful handy though. 

I have already cut a road into the wood stove from the back of the house but since the back is our primary entrance, I don't want to mess the yard all up with the tractor...... If that makes any sense.  Here is a shot of the back road I just cut in with ole bessy.
