Which water pump do you guys recommend?
I have a NCB-250/ nature comfort.
Currently it has a Broeder Pump 3 speeds: 0-20gpm $195.00, but I want to buy a back up one in case it breaks during the winter.

Nature comfort recommends the Broeder, which is the one the boiler comes with or they have for the NCB 250;
1. TACO 0-41gpm $413.00
2. Grundfos 0-17gpm $147
3. Armstrong E9 0-38gpm $309
I guess I could buy some other from Manard too.

I've had good luck with Bell and Gossett pumps, at work and on the OWB. I run an NRF-25 3-speed on the short run (50 ft.) to the shop and an NRF-36 3-speed for the 180ft. run to the house. I run them both on the #2 speed.

I forgot to post the distance;
I heat 4000sqft, NCB-250coal, water, and heat. Worked great least year.
The boiler is about 90 feet from the house, flat surface. My line is 9 feet underground. Currently I am running the Broeder Pump 3 speeds: 0-20gpm pump on speed 2, and it worked great last year. I just don't think that it's a very long lasting pump, so I was looking for something better.

What's better? have higher flow or slower flow? I was thinking high flow so the water temp doesn't drop as much as it goes thought the water tank, and the central air exchanger.
There is 0 temp drop between the boiler and the house; if the central heat fan is on, the water temp drops about 15-18F as it goes through the air exchanger.
