I have been useing my woodmaster 434 for 12 years now and last two year it doesnt seem to keep up on cold night, below 10deg its hard to hit 70 in house. used to be real hot. Im wondering if my exchanger is getting plugged up, I thought about  reversing lines or unhooking and flushing with hose like a car heater core. anyone ever have this issue of plugging up?

Yes they do plug up over time, I would also check the supply and return temps on the underground pipe as well, you may have water infiltrating the insolation of those lines.

thanks for info, think i will add some vinager for now and in the spring unhook lines at exchanger and see if its plugged and if so remove to have it cleaned. I use well water and not thru a softner, but change it yearly and use additive from woodmaster. i guess over 12 years things happen

If you add vinegar now, I woudl suggest adding a filter or strainer of some kind casue all that build up is going to go some where (probably back into stove unless you filter or flush it out. JUST MY $0.02
